As we explore finishes, design styles, and influences, we will first create architectural layouts for the property. Then, finally, we will create early 3D models and renders that describe the volumetric aspects. Finally, we get down to the details of the scheme during the design development stage. We refine the internal layouts and identify key finishes and materials for floors, walls, and furniture. We will also define the lighting concepts and all the requirements to achieve the goal.
The Design Concept and supporting conceptual drawings. These include scaled floor plans that show furniture placement and mood boards displaying colour, materials, and finishes. The proposal can consist of viewpoint drawings, additional sketches, full-colour renderings, or computer simulations. The project cost estimates include labour, materials, and a fee to design. However, project costs cannot be estimated at this stage. Actual charges can only become known once the final drawings have been submitted to suppliers, contractors, and installers for their declarations.
